Howard Glasser MA (New York University 1974) is the Executive Director of the Children's Success
Foundation. He is the designer of The Nurtured Heart Approach and the author of Transforming the
Difficult Child, published in June of 1999 and currently a top selling book on the subject of ADHD. He
lectures internationally, teaching parents and teachers about his approach. The Nurtured Heart
Approach is now being used in hundreds of classrooms and has been adopted as a school-wide approach by a
number of schools in Tucson as well as by the Tucson Head Start program.

Gabrielli LaChiara, L.S.W., Certified Nurtured Heart Trainer, has been working with families
and children for 20 years as a trained group facilitator and family counselor. She is the co-founder of
MotherWoman, Inc., and is the northeast regional leading expert of The Nurtured Heart Approach. Gabrielli
specializes in creating harmony within family systems while re-balancing power dynamics. Her practice,
ClearLight Counseling, is dedicated to helping people cultivate inner strength, increase consciousness and
develop tools and resources for personal growth and success. The enthusiasm and support that she provides to
families is profoundly transformative.
With Gabrielli's expertise. The Nurtured Heart Approach is easily integrated into school, family, home or
professional practice. She has presented extensively to mental health providers, parents and educators.
Gabrielli is also a regular presenter at the advanced Nurtured Heart trainings held in Tucson, AZ.

Lisa Bravo, MC, LPC, LISAC, NCC, Certified Nurtured Heart Trainer & Therapist,
brings over fifteen years combined experience in the areas of parenting, behavior management, mental health
counseling, crisis, chemical dependency, consultation, and training to the development of ParentwoRx. She is
the proud mother of two and is raising her children based on the principles of the Nurtured Heart Approach.
It is through her vast experiences with families and children that she has come to her belief that
traditional methods of parenting are not effective with challenging children. Connecting with children in an
intense and emotional way when things are going well is the key to turning things around. Lisa is a co-author
of The Nurtured Heart Workbook (2007). Lisa is also a regular presenter at the advanced Nurtured
Heart trainings held in Tucson, AZ.

Tom Grove, M.A., L.M.F.T., Certified Nurtured Heart Trainer & Therapis, is a licensed
Marriage and Family therapist at the Mental Health Center of Champaign in Champaign, Illinois. He earned his
Master of Arts in experimental psychology from Eastern Illinois University. He divides his time between his
therapy practice and helping schools implement the Nurtured Heart Approach. He has given numerous
presentations and consultations to mental health providers, parents, and educators. Tom is co-author of The Inner Wealth Initiative (2007). He is a regular presenter at the Advanced Nurtured Heart
Approach Training held in Tucson, Arizona.
